Bison Watching is a 14 Landscape Art Quilt. This is a 20 by 14 landscape watercolor painting of the Southwest landscape by watercolor artist Jeanine Malaney. This original painting is dual matted ready for a 28 by 22 frame. The bison represents Americas past, the Old West, mountain men, our Indian and cowboy heritage. Regretfully, the slaughter of the bison correlates to the slaughter of the American Indian and Indian culture by the white man. The bison symbolism is both noble and demeaning to our passions. My bison impression in this transparent watercolor painting is one of peace and nobility, reminding me of the serenity of the wide open spaces of the Old West.
You can view the original watercolor artwork before making your purchase (framed paintings are created digitally and dose not allow a large view of the original art.
We provide a larger view of the our standard watercolor frames corners for reframing options.
