Grand Canyon Vista
Image size 15 by 22
$850
On the brink of the Inner Gorge, looking east 40 miles or more, the scenery is colossal. One feels like an ant looking up at the sky scrapers of New York. Between rocky ledges of red sandstone, sunlit cliffs, large columns, basalt, symmetric walls 2,000 feet high, and the Colorado River 3,000 feet below this lookout peak... Awe-struck by the vastness and depths and grandeur... a beauty unsurpassed. The number one Natural Wonder of the World!
Penstemon on Saguaro I
Image size 17 by 23
$845
This is a 13 by 18 Original Landscape Quilt. Famous for their accordion-like trunk which expands with rain to store water for the desert drought, the Saguaro is an amazing survivalist. Their armor of long and short spines provides protection from animals but also shelter to some insects and birds, like the cactus wren . The thorny bull thistle is a likely companion. This original southwest fabric landscape painting reminds me of my 18 years living in desert.

A typical Colorado Rocky Mountain landscape, this unique fabric painting purveys a sense of the wide-open spaces, big western sky, home for the bald eagle, and heritage of the land in wild horses. The earth colors are subtle against an intense blue sky, highlighted with distant snow-capped peaks.
Prickly Pear Haven
Image size 26 by 16
$350.00
I love the variety of shapes, sizes and colors found in cactus, though exaggerated here. There is a simple elegance in their clustering. Some seem to defy gravity with heavy fronds striking awkward poses. The humming bird is not deterred by spines and finds a hidden late blossom among the fruit.
Winter Quiet

Ahhh, Denali !
Image size 43 by 35
$1970
At 20,320 feet, McKinley is North America's highest mountain and the crown of the 600-mile-long Alaska Range. The indigenous Athabascan people called the mountain "Denali" meaning "Great One." From base to summit, the mountain's vertical relief is greater than that of Mount Everest. Viewed through her nearly permanent veil of clouds, McKinley's grandeur will leave your heart racing and your spirit soaring. Across Denali National Park, views are expansive, rivers run milky white with rock pulverized by glaciers. A treeless tundra spills away in all directions. Dall sheep, caribou, moose, and grizzly bears roam freely. Ahhh!
Spirit of the West I
Image size 42 by 34
$2000
A 42 by 34 Fabric Art Quilt (unframed) The flavor of high desert and low rugged mountains captivates my imagination here. I added horses running free to symbolize the wide open spaces of the American West and our Indian heritage. Every summer my dad would drive the family of six from Indiana to explore Out West.
Along the Animas River
Image size 29 by 22
$1770
This is a 29 by 22 original art quilt painting by Colorado quilt artist Jeanine Malaney. Steam-powered with coal, the Durango to Silverton train is reminiscent of the 1880s mining days. The ride provides spectacular wilderness scenery through the San Juan Mountains sometimes hanging on a cliff, sometimes through a pine and spruce canyon, sometimes along the Animas River. I first rode this train in 1952 as a small child, on vacation from Indiana. I have been enthralled with Colorado ever since and eventually moved to Pagosa Springs. This unique fabric art quilt painting brings me right back to that first ride stirred with fond memories of family travels throughout the American Southwest.
Spirit of the West II
Image size 35 by 29
$1350
It is Mecca to me, the Colorado San Jan Mountains. Every summer my dad would drive the family of six from Indiana to explore the mountain landscape, canyons, deep blue lakes and reservoirs, and rushing rivers or mountain streams of the American West. All of the family eventually moved Out West. In this unique fabric painting Pagosa Peak shines in her springtime glory and galloping horses fly on the breeze.
