Shy Rabbit Studio, Pagosa Springs, May
The Art to Music Exhibit featured 10 artists and John Graves on keyboard. Jeanine Malaney was one of the artists who presented work for the impromptu musical composition by Mr. Graves. Jeanine’s watercolor painting entitled “Albert Squirrel” inspired a whimsical melody. For more information, go to current press release.
PSAC Gallery, Pagosa Springs, May
Jeanine's fabric painting "Spirit of the American West II " was selected for the 2006 Pagosa Country Calendar. Proceeds from calendar sales will benefit the Pagosa Springs Arts Council. All original art for the calendar was on exhibit for the month.
Shy Rabbit Showroom, Pagosa Springs, May
Jeanine was a contributing artist for the Fiction to Art Exhibit. Twenty-nine artists created works in their unique media based on a fictional essay by J. Hannah entitled “The Mortality of Kodak Moments.”
Durango Arts Center, June
DAC’s 29 th Annual Juried Exhibit included one watercolor “Thistle on Saguaro” and one fabric painting “Grand Canyon Vista” by Jeanine.
Pagosa Springs Arts Council Gallery, June
Jeanine's fabric painting exhibit drew a crowd of 150 at the opening reception and continued through the month. The show included eight large pieces by Jeanine, about 4 x 5 foot.

Jeanine’s fabric art "Mt. Wilson Beams on Alta Lake " was selected. This Four Corners Commission Juried Exhibit celebrates the diversity of heritage and uniqueness of the Four Corners region.
